Being 31 is no excuse!! I’m 31, and even I was shown Titanic at a frankly concerning age! Do I remember all of it? No, but I SAW it! I think they even had a cleaned up version that we watched in school one time??
Still haven’t seen it despite the intense peer pressure for DECADES. I get super stubborn to the point of being obstinate as hell anytime someone tells me I “have to…” I have, however, hungrily devoured absolutely every single documentary about finding and exploring the wreck of the Titanic, every weird story about someone not dying on it, etc., having been obsessed with undersea life since I was tiny. But that’s me, digging my stubborn toes in.
You are stronger than me!! When people endlessly talk about a pop culture thing, I eventually give in, just because I HAVE TO ALSO KNOW, but I aspire to be this stubborn!! If I were more stubborn, I'd never have read 50 Shades of Grey, and that would be incredibleeeee
That is a ridiculous Titanic story! My personal ridiculous Titanic story is that my dad took me to see it at the tender age of 8, and then my mom thought I was too young and the logical reaction to that was for HER to take me to see it to understand if it was appropriate (at least that was my understanding at the time! who knows but I saw it twice in theaters!). I haven't seen Titanic since then but it definitely made a strong impact on my little brain.
