In my whole life I have only bought perfume once until now, Coco Mademoiselle that was, in retrospect, 90% about fancying Keira Knightley and 10% about wanting to feel like an adult. But you absolutely sold me on Five O'clock Au Gingembre, I bought a sample, and I'm not sure my baby queer life will ever be the same again!

I picked up a sample of Five o’clock au gingembre and finally wore it around my girlfriend last night and let's just say that this scent is a SUCCESS.

My recent ex once gifted me a book of Ada Limón poetry that they had both inscribed and spritzed with their cologne. Such a power move, I can't think about it too hard. I know the spritz came from a bottle of Serge Lutens, but I don't know which scent. So I would like to sniff the Serge Lutens scent rec'd here for comparison.

How do we invent a way to attach smells to these emails, I need to know what they all smell like! But ultimately, I’d have to go with Five o’clock au gingembre from this list.

With a description like that I want to smell Crypt so bad, but I'm also nervous if I smell it I will be shelling out $150 on a perfume I never knew I needed 😆

Also this feels like the classic queer conundrum - do I want to be the person who wears that scent, or do I want to kiss the person who wears that scent in a pile of autumn leaves?!

i understand completely, that queer conundrum is 97% of why my perfume collection is OUT OF HAND

Oh my god, when I saw the top of that Serge Lutens bottle as I was scrolling through this post, I nearly shouted "OH NO SHE DIDN'T!" But I caught myself and turns out it was a false alarm anyway. 🙃 Haha! But seriously. You do have a gift and you are generous for sharing that with us all!

I would never give away your secret!! (OK i might but also it's so expensive that I've never even replaced my own empty bottle!) One day i am going to march into the Serge Lutens boutique and DEMAND some answers!!!

What if the special thing about perfumes is that they actually bottle up REAL memories and the ones that give YOU KNOW WHAT its special scent are becoming more and more rare, so they have to charge that outrageous price?? You must find the answer when you go to the boutique, please.
