I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THE SKIN TAGS TRICK. I am elated to try this AND sharpen the 3 pairs of tweezermans I own (I only bought a new pair because I lost my old ones, which of course turned up once I purchased new ones).

Immaculate ratings, no notes! Do you have to be a member of JFC to shop? If not, I might send my mom there!

I have a college tea tree oil story (so you know it’ll be good). It was 2011, and I was trying to deal with my transitionally aged skin without resorting to the paint thinner known as Proactiv, nor the sandpaper known as the St. Ives apricot scrub. K-beauty was JUST hitting the internet for those non-Asians in the know. I read that tea tree oil was a great ✨natural✨treatment for acne, so I bought some from Trader Joe’s. I brought it into my bathroom, washed my face, and proceeded to put it DIRECTLY onto my face: no dilution.

I almost SCREAMED. It hurt so badly!!! Then an older online friend saw my Tumblr post, laughed at me (valid), and told me you needed to considerably dilute tea tree oil before applying it to your skin, and I never used it again. 🥲 The chemical burn honestly blended in with the Minnesotan windburn look paler people get in the winters anyway, but still!!

You don't have to be a JFC member!

And JFC i cannot BELIEVE you put undiluted tea tree oil ALL OVER YOUR FACE, oh my god, it's amazing you have any skin left at all!!!

Do I need to dilute the tea tree oil I put on the skin tags? I want to try this immediately but do not want to burn myself.

I'm not sure! the internet says you MUST dilute but also i never have, i just literally drip the oil onto a Q-tip and rub the skin tag. Also the timing is different for each one, I've noticed - some tags take weeks and weeks to fall off, and others take a week and poof they're gone; there's really no system to this, alas alas!
